IAMAW District 725 SMS Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: October 14, 2025

Introduction

By enrolling in the IAMAW District 725 SMS program, you agree to receive recurring text messages (notifications, updates and reminders) at the mobile number you provide. These Terms align with the 2025 TCPA requirements and CTIA Best Practices.

1. Opt-In Consent

Your participation in our SMS service requires explicit one-to-one consent. By opting in, you consent to receive messages from IAMAW District 725 only. Consent cannot be shared with other companies or third-party entities without your direct approval.

You may opt in through any of the following methods:

• Web Form – Check a clearly labeled box explicitly stating SMS program enrollment during the opt-in process.
2. Message Frequency

You will receive no more than 3–5 messages per day unless urgent notifications require additional messages. Standard carrier rates may apply.

3. Opt-Out Process

Reply "STOP" at any time to end all SMS messages. Reply "HELP" for customer support instructions or contact jmauldin@iam725.org or (619) 906-0394.

4. Terms of Consent

Your consent is voluntary and not a condition of purchase. You may receive informational messages as described when you opt in.

5. Privacy Policy

Your mobile number and interaction data are governed by our Privacy Policy (https://www.dl725.com/privacy). Information is used solely for SMS delivery purposes and compliance.

6. Message & Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply according to your carrier plan. IAMAW District 725 is not responsible for carrier charges.

7. Record-Keeping & Compliance

We maintain detailed logs of opt-ins and opt-outs—including dates, times and consent methods—to satisfy TCPA 2025 proof-of-consent requirements.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms. Significant changes will be communicated via SMS or posted online. Continued participation after updates signifies acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Disclaimers & Liability

Message delivery depends on carrier networks; we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or delivery times and are not liable for delays or failure of delivery outside our control.

• Send SMS messages (notifications, updates and reminders) according to your opt‑in preferences.
• Demonstrate regulatory compliance with TCPA (2025) and Campaign Registry requirements.

3. One‑to‑One Consent Requirement

Under the January 2024 FCC ruling, your opt‑in consent applies solely to IAMAW District 725. We do not share or transfer your consent to any third parties or affiliates unless you expressly agree.

4. Message Frequency & Data Rates

Message frequency varies based on notification needs but will not exceed 3–5 messages per day unless there is an event that requires additional notifications. Message and data rates may apply; please check your carrier’s terms.

• Text "STOP" to any message to unsubscribe immediately.

6. Data Sharing & Disclosure

• We never sell your data.
• We may share data with service providers (e.g., carriers) solely for SMS delivery and regulatory compliance, under strict confidentiality.
• National Do Not Call Registry protections apply to SMS. We honor existing Do Not Call registrations unless you opt in.

7. Security of Your Information

We implement reasonable measures to protect your data; however, no system can guarantee absolute security.

8. Record‑Keeping & Proof of Consent

We retain all opt‑in and opt‑out records—including timestamps and methods of consent—to comply with TCPA 2025 and Campaign Registry guidelines.
